If you have a query of a general nature or are a member of the public wanting to understand more about VAT you should visit the HMRC website and/or speak to the National Advice Service. Our service is targeted at businesses who have been unable to get a satisfactory answer this way.
Please note, we receive many requests for advice and, as a regulated firm, we must complete due diligence before providing guidance. This means that we are not able to answer free ad hoc accounting or tax queries either by phone or in writing. In order to provide advice we would first need to complete our formal engagement procedures.
If your enquiry relates to one-off advice, our minimum fee is £900 + VAT, which includes onboarding and delivery of tailored advice.
